Predicting how a marketplace will respond to his services based on a focus group is not really the best idea.

Explanation: a focus group is usually small group of people whose reaction to a particular production or services is used in research and political anaysis. Using a small group to simplify or to generalise a whole population will not really give you the best answer you really want. People taste and wants differs and when only a small sample group are used, it cannot really cover all the aspect you are looking for or give you your desired result.

Focus group use always have personal bias leading to inaccurate result or outcomes, not in-depth study of what you are trying to do.
