    This is evidence of medicalization and the social construction of health and illness.

    In general, a person is considered as healthy if we have a thin body. In this particular case, the person who did the procedure will definitely had thinner body after the procedure, but it definitely created health risk for them.

    So, we could say that being thin does not necessarily healthier.
