Jaime goes to the supermarket to buy lotion. She always buys the same brand, so she knows exactly what the bottle looks like. Jaime is in a hurry, so she grabs what she thinks is her usual lotion and checks out. When she returns home, she notices that the brand name of the lotion is different from her usual one and in fact realizes she has purchased a "no-name" brand that looks like her usual brand. Which federal law has the no-name brand manufacturer most likely violated?

    Answer:The Lanham act

    Explanation:

This is an act which controls how companies use their particular trademarks such as logos, graphics or other trademarks, they ensure that each company use their own unique trademarks without coping the trademark of the other companies.

This is used to regulate competition between brands form each different company.

This company broke that by using a container that resembles the container of another brands which isn't theirs.

This is unlawful since means they can indirectly still customers by using the same trademark for their product and people will buy thinking it's the same product or brand.
