Answer: Gravitational and elastic potential energy

Explanation: Potential energy is inherently stored within the body, material, etc. The mere fact that energy is stored in a body or material suggests that the body has the potential to harness that energy that can be converted into motion, that is, into another type of mechanic energy, most commonly kinetic. There are many types of potential energy, but when it comes to mechanical energy, they can be, say, elastic and gravitational potential energy.

Elastic energy, due to the fact that it is potential, is stored in the material and is generated as a result of deformation of the body. During deformation of the body, i. e. the shape, volume of the body, the force used to deform it is stored in the material as potential energy. For example, some parts are made precisely with the aim of storing potential energy through deformation, to store potential energy that will be used later, such as a clock spring.

Gravitational potential energy is also known to affect all bodies near Earth. This means that in every body in the Earth's atmosphere there is stored potential gravitational energy, which causes the body to be drawn to the earth, that is, to fall.
