    A skill-based pay is compensator type of system and that rewards the employees with the additional pay in exchange of the formal certification and the mastery of the skills and knowledge and expertise in performing the tasks. And disadvantages is that they represent the higher skills that sometimes demands greater pay and different from the real pay received by the others.
