    In the more progressive parts of the US, things like segregation and hatred for minorities ended. It was anyhow a period of time where most minorities were frowned upon and had almost no civil rights, especially the African Americans. Especially problematic was the South where we all know what happened during the sixties and the civil rights fight era.
