    Answer

there is a possibly that the child be Jocko's child. Shannon's genotype may be AO, while Jocko's is AB. This would enable the infant a small chance to inherit the recessive blood type from the mother.

Eplanation: both blood parents of a child usually gives one ABO alleles of theirs to their child. If a mother has blood type A only, she only can give or pass an A only allele to her son or daughter. so also is the father who has AB blood type, He can only give or pass either an A or a B allele to his son or daughter. Humans (parents) usually has two alleles of a blood group of which they donate one to their child. Jocko's may be the father if only the mother has a recessive O allele (Ao) therefore the child may have taken the O blood type from the maternal parent.

Usually, blood type of individuals are a result of co-dominant alleles. ABO are the three blood type and has 6 different combinations which are AA, AO, BB, BO, AB, and OO. At times, determinatiom of exact genotype from a blood test result of either type A or type B possibility is low. genotype is usually AA or AO therefore, a person
