One negative consequence of using automation to improve manufacturing production is that factories often need fewer workers. Automation will eliminate some of the jobs in a particular industry. Some production process that in the past was done with 10 employees for example, in the future will be done with few robots. But automation will also lead to creation of many many new jobs and change of the existing ones.
