The fear of contracting a sexually transmitted disease which might seriously impact the health of a promiscuous person is a counter argument against the ideal mentioned above. A person who displays sexually promiscuous behavior is significantly increasing their chances of creating a child while also significantly increasing their chances of contracting a crippling infectious disease.
