    Yes nationalism has been essentially ideology force in recent times, it can be positive because it's positivity can be felt in different areas in the nation development for instance nationalism

    seeks to preserve and foster the traditional culture of a nation, and also brings about cultural revivals through nationalist movements. It has brought encouragement to the pride in national achievements which can be associated to patriotism.

    B) Nationalism can be negative if it's abused or it'd too much. Negative nationalists prey most directly on people who are losing ground economically and socially. For example the recent resurgence of negative nationalism in country like Austria, France, where among blue-collar manufacturing. Negative nationalism can result to the ill of blind allegiance to a particular state. For instance in a situation where decisions are accepted because people just want to follow order and at the end the people individual would not be able to make principled decisions in commerce, even negotiation.
