Developmental psychologists are interested in changes in behavior that occur from birth to adolescence (infant to teen). conception on to death (the womb to the tomb). birth to adulthood (child to grown-up). conception to senescence.

    This area of knowledge of psychology studies the development of the human being in all its aspects: physical-motor, intellectual, emotional-emotional and social - from birth to adulthood.

    Human development refers to mental development and organic growth. Mental development is a continuous construction. These are the forms of organization of mental activity that are being perfected and solidified until the moment when all of them. Some of these mental structures remain throughout life.

    This study is to understand the importance of the study of human development. Studying human development means knowing the common characteristics of an age group. Planning what and how to teach implies knowing who the learner is. There are ways to perceive, understand and behave before the world, specific to each age group.
