I recently interviewed a variety of young people about the issue that matter most to them, and the result were revealing. Here are some representative examples. Mariah, a 23-year-old college student, has been heavily involved in the Black Lives Matter movement. Victor, an 18-year-old freshman, engaged in a sit-in in the college presidents office to encourage the school to stop investing in fossil fuels. Yet another student, Mei-Lin, spoke about the need to make college more affordable for a more diverse group of students.
