How does consequentialism differ from deontological or kantian theories of right and wrong?

Although both of them are important theories in ethics, consequentialism has it focus on the outcome of actions, that is, judging the morals of the consequences of actions engaged in by anyone, while deontological theory has it focus centered on how moral rule precedes certain action in which action is judged and not the outcome of such action.
