    Answer: I agree that the majority of promotional activities are deceptive

    Explanation:

    The reason I think businesses may sometimes use deceptive tactics is because they want to make sure that they make the sell.

    The competition is tight for each product because many businesses may have similar product and in order to stay above the competition they adopt these deceptions to obtain more customers than their counterparts.

    For example facial products will promise that their product will take a week to clear all the spot on your face and you go buy it and nothing happens.

    They know what people are desperate to buy and it's the way for them to push their business and get ahead of their competitors.

    This is their strategy to sell their product i ln as much as possible.
