Amygdala is the part of the central nervous system that plays a key role in emotions. The amygdala is the part of the limbic system in the central nervous system. In both animals and human beings, this part of the system is related to the fear responses and pleasures. In the human, it is the most sexually dys-morphic brain structure and shrinks in male more than forty percent upon castration. There are the condition such as anxiety, depression, the phobia is suspected to the abnormal activities of the amygdala owing to damage, developmental problems, and neurotransmitter imbalances.
