    No, these two statements are not equally probable. The reason as to why these two statements aren't probable is because, first of all, to learn a new word is to figure out what the meaning of that word is, that you previously did not know before. On the other hand, saying that you have learned a new sentence means that you learned and understand a certain thing about it, like a couple words in the sentence that you were unable to understand. Sentences can't necessarily be learned, you just take the knowledge that you know and try to figure out what it's saying.
