What are the two major economic reasons for imperialism

    Answer: Militarism and Nationalism. Militarism is one of the major economic reason for imperialism. It is a state ideology aimed at the constant building of the military power of the state and admissibility of use of military force in solving international and internal conflicts. And the second economic reason for imperialism is nationalism. Awareness of the ethnic self as a nation inevitably leads to nationalism. Nationalism-the current, seeking to unite culture and state, to ensure the culture of its own political and economic roof and thus no more than one.
