Although society today can be looked at as blended puree in which we have all been put into a blender and liquified, we do come from various cultures and traditions--that is, we each have our own unique heritage. Discuss the aspects of your own heritage that make you different from our blended mass culture. Does your family value that heritage? If so, how is it embodied in your family gatherings and traditions? And are there tensions in your family concerning your heritage? Do some in the family value it less than others?

Like every culture, each family has its heritage and it runs in the family. Our family's heritage is to live like one under the same roof. It is one of the most common practices but it shows how well bonded we are with each other.

Most of the family values the heritage and the house and the memories and history that comes with it but the new generations do not understand the importance. There is definitely a lesser degree of association with older generations.

The food, the traditions and the culture inside a family is what makes it unique from others.
