    Large majority of medical words comes from Greek and Latin. Greek language is suitable for the building of compound words easily. Greek medicine migrated to Rome then many Latin terms also translated from Greek. Greek origin mainly used for clinical terminology like cardiology, gastriti, appendicitis, creatinine, cystoscope, epinephrine, streptococcus and nephropathia. The Latin origin used for anatomical terminology like corren and ventriculus etc.
