India's population is growing very rapidly. Birth rates are high, and India already has trouble providing enough for everyone. There are not enough schools or doctors. Not all people have access to electricity or sanitation. There are also high rates of child and infant mortality.

urbanisation and lack of reproductive education are one of many reasons why a population might increase by a lot. India is now the home to 1.2 billion people. Only 57 billionaires control 70 percent of India's wealth, which gives the country a sense of hierarchy. This economic inequality leads to poverty, lack of free medical assistance, lack of social security and education as well as poor living conditions.
