Primary six girls have a better result than boys in general. It is because the brain

development of girls is more mature than boys at this stage So that more girls are

supposed entering the Brand 1 secondary schools than boys. To restore a balance

some people suggest that we should reserve quotas for boys in the Brand 1

secondary schools. Can we use that difference to justify the differential treatment?

Explain your answer.

    I do not believe that this factor is a factor that needs a grant. it is a small factor of maturity, and a momentary factor, there is not a great disparity which is justifiable to have a scholarship for that, in my view it is a minimal difference that is soon matched.
