Psychoanalytic theory

The psychoanalytic is a theory as well as therapy. Psychoanalytical theory or therapy was proposed by Sigmund Freud. He believed that our childhood experiences or events will impact our adult behavior. He also believed that people have little choices about free will rather than behavior determinism.

Freud believed that the iceberg and the human mind are the same in some perspectives. The part which is upper the water surface will show the conscious part of the brain. The part which is under the water surface will show the unconscious part of the brain. These part influenced our behavior. This theory psychoanalysis was used by many psychologists by ignoring its flaws.
