    The novel is about a men who is was in a ship wreck, he wanted to sale and his family was against it. He was very young so he wanted adventure, and he got it. Only he experienced both excitment and lonelyness.

    He was alone for a lot of years in an island. His need of relating to other and belonging made him talk to God. In his journey he would later be accompanied by Friday a men who he saived, and he would keep him company. A person cannot do it on their own, people need form others.
