    The answer is false

    Explanation:

Criminal Justice Professional is a member of the arm of government that interprets the laws made by the legislators.

This responsibility of the judiciary is in contrast with serving public interest. In other words, the overriding aim of the criminal justice professional is implementation of justice. Ensuring that laws of the land does not leave a criminal unpunished.

If public interest is the main goal of the criminal justice professional, it means the interest of everyone including that of a criminal should be protected, which is absurd and inconsistent with justice, equity and fairness.

As the popular saying,"he who comes to equity must come with clean hands".
