Sensationalized slideshow are harmful to the presenter as The audience may see the presenter's primary role as that of an entertainer, not an educator.

    Explanation:

A TV news presenter must always have an air of credibility about them which comes from them seeming honest and their purpose being to inform the news and not to entertain or get the audience engaged.

This is something that is compromised when there is sensationalist news that the anchor has to let out and this in turn loses them their credibility with the audience.

More and more begin to think as entertainers and not as journalists.
