According to rotter, those who attribute the cause of events to external reasons have a high internal locus of control while those that attribute the cause of events to internal reasons have a high external locus of control.

    I believe the answer is: False

    It's the other way around.

    People with internal locus of control tend to believe that every outcome that happen in their life could be attributed to their personal effort.

    People with external locus of control tend to believe that everything is outside of their control and often attribute their failure to everything beside themselves
