    The answer to the statement above is B. False. Low self-esteem is an example of an internal cause of stress. Stress is caused by an abnormal need to adapt of cope up certain situations. Having a low self-esteem makes it difficult for a person to deal with a problem not unless they are able to find a way to learn to look at the good side of themselves than of what they cannot do.
