Phung decides to test how the evaporation of rubbing alcohol and water affect temperature. She wets one paper towel with water and another with rubbing alcohol. She leaves a third paper towel dry. She wraps each paper towel around a different thermometer and places it under a fan. Which claim will be supported by the evidence from the investigation?

    The thermometer will see that the one that is rubbed with alcohol will show warmer temperature.

    Explanation:

    The temperature at the threshold of substances that have been touched by alcohol rises which is why they are easy to catch fire.

    When there is evaporation, the alcohol content will only be getting consecrated there as only the acetone content will evaporate.

    Thus, the paper towel will still have a comparatively hot temperature at that time so it is significant that it is not in place with inflammable things because it will be very easy to light up.

    The paper towel that will be dry will show no change
