All people including me, doing arguments daily but when you do the claim and support the claim with reason then it would be an argument.

    For example:

When as a teenager, you borrowed a car from your parents for a reasonable supports, a track record for responsibility in other areas of your life, a good rating from your driving record and promises of following the rules of traffic laid out by your parents then you have made an argument.

There are two types of arguments such as

Rhetoric arguments: Focuses on how to create an argument that convinces and persuades effectively.

Academic arguments: Interpretation and center research play.
