In Platos writings he states Socrates tells Theaetetus that philosophy begins in wonder. Meaning you must have curiosity why, what, when and how about the world and if it could be improved to be a philosopher.

When you think about something, or wondering about something thinking,"that's weird. what could this be?" something like that, you can create something big, or find out new information, etc. so thinking creates good ideas, basically.
