You are interested in organizational change and have adopted a feminist perspective. However, you are trying to decide between the various streams of feminist thought. Discuss two forms of feminism, then adopt one and tell us what you are going to do to change our organizations based on the assumptions of these feminist perspectives.

    Answer: There different types of feminism, but I will mention two as the question implies.

    1, Liberal Feminism

    2, Marxist and socialist feminism

    Explanation: 1, Liberal feminism: This is the variety of feminism that works within the structure of mainstream society to integrate women into that structure. Its roots stretch back to the social contract theory of government instituted by the American Revolution.

    2, Marxist and socialist feminism:

    Marxism recognizes that women are oppressed, and attributes the oppression to the capitalist/private property system. Thus they insist that the only way to end the oppression of women is to overthrow the capitalist system. Socialist feminism is the result of Marxism meeting radical feminism.

    I will adopt the Liberal feminism for the organization, in other to keep the workplace safe and to make sure there is nondiscrimination in gender equality in the workplace, I believe when we work together as one without the mindset of either one being a Male or a Female will make the organization achieve its goal.
