2 - After the French and Indian War, the colonists didn't get the land they wanted in the west. (The French and Indian War was fought because the colonists wanted to expand into the west where there were fertile lands - a perfect place to farm.) The colonists that had already moved to the west after the French and Indian War was ordered by the British not to settle beyond the Appalachian mountains. So the colonists got angry.

3 - In 1765 the British ordered the colonists to quarter the British soldiers. The colonists saw no reason to do that because the French and Indian War was over. The Colonists got angry.
