    In that long conversation between John and the Mond. John gives him a number of arguments about why religion is necessary. John openly expresses his aversion to the usual simple life in a society where only science abolishes all frustrations. Mond admits doubts about the "Society of Universal Happiness", the more that he was once gifted, physicist. Especially when this society is actually under the prohibition of religion.
