Why is the changing of water from a solid to a liquid to a gad a physical change and NOT a chemical change

    Chemical change would have to involve a component that is a chemical for instance antifreeze if they used antifreeze to freeze the water then it would be considered a chemical reaction but since the water was, according to the information you gave me, froze by temperature than it is physical. You could also compare it to your body's temperature change if it changes from being under the sun its probably because of a physical character like natural sunlight
