Nancy's status of identity is called identity achievement.

    Explanation:

According to James E. Marcia's (1937-) research on the lifespan identity development, Nancy has achieved the fourth stage of identity development called identity achievement. She went through the active consideration of alternatives and have decided to take a commitment into one of them. By committing to a chosen alternative Nancy have also achieved the internal locus of control, when a person relies on her or his own powers to take control of the life circumstances, rather than external factors.
