    Some of the impacts of the First World War were for example the diminished power of Austria-Hungary, as the country became smaller, and thus a change of powers within Europe. Also, many new nations appeared, for example Poland and Czechoslovakia.

    Germany was weakened drastically, but this only led to a radicalisation of Germany afterwards ...
