Describe the role of consumers in a food web. Are consumers heterotrophs? Justify your answer.

Consumers eat producers than reproduce the seeds which is good for the environment because too much of something can make that certain species dominant which is bad for the food web, food chain, and their habitat. Consumers are heterotrophs because they can't make their own food.
