What is the difference between commutative justice and distributive justice?

    Commutative: Deals with relationships between people

    Distributive: Regulates what a society owes its members in proportion to what they need and what they contribute

    Distributive and corrective justice share a goal of equality, which is the mean between excess and too little. A person is just who treats all others equally ... Corrective justice provides for the rectification of wrongs committed by one individual that cause harm to another.
