Recent meetings of the local "Save-the-Chihuahuas" club have included some intense discussions about how to conduct meetings and who is doing what in the group. The members clearly do not yet agree about the issues, but they are feeling comfortable enough with one another to continue the discussion and to speak openly about their thoughts. The group is likely in what stage of group development?

    Storming stage

    Explanation:

In order to develop as a group, Bruce Tuckman, laid out or modeled five stages which shows development in a group.

    They are:

1st stage - - Forming stage or the Orientation

2nd stage - - Storming Stage or the Power struggle

3rd stage - - Norming Stage or the Cooperation and Integration

4th stage - - Performing Stage or the Synergy

5th stage - - Adjourning Stage or the Closure

So in the given situation, although members of the club agreed to meet and discuss comfortably about their thoughts on the "Save-the-Chihuahuas" but they do not agree with solutions provided by the members on the issues.

They are struggling and debating to arrive to a common solution and conclusions tot he issue.

Thus the group is likely to be in the 2nd stage of group development, that is the Storming Stage.

Thus the answer is "Storming Stage".
