    Health insurance and employment discrimination

    Explanation:

The Genetic Information Nondiscrimination Act (GINA) of 2008 is aimed at protecting Americans from discrimination based on their genetic information in both health insurance and employment. GINA prohibits employers from using or requesting genetic test as a prerequisite to employing an individual and GINA also prohibits health issuers from discriminating in enrolling individuals. That is, refusing to enroll individuals with abnormal genetic makeup.
