Why do i/o psychologists rarely ever state that there is a causal relationship between two variables, as "job dissatisfaction causes turnover?"?

    The reason as to why psychologist rarely state that there is a casual relationship between two variables as a job dissatisfaction causes turnover because of the reason that what they study does not lend itself to the method of research in which allows of assessing casualty.
