    The enemies that the ancient romans successfully battled are the following; • Celtics - they are referred to the tribes of people during the iron age. • Etruscans - they are known for their mineral resources that are rich and in the same time, they contain the major Mediterranean trading power. • Carthaginians - their origins are traced to the Phoenicians in which they have either less or more control with their city state because of the fall of the tyre with the Babylonian.
