Transformational type of leaders inspire followers to transcend their self-interests for the good of the organization and can have an extraordinary effect on their followers. Thus type of leader works with his subordinates to identify needed change. Transformational leadership includes creating a vision to guide the change through inspiration, and executing the change in tandem with committed members of a group.
