What was a result of the peace in Asia in the 13th and 14th centuries under Mongol rule?

    I believe the answer is: Trade along the Silk Road increased.

    Under mongol rules, many small tribes that previously ran rampant in these region were either eradicated or absorbed into the mongol empire.

    Because of this, the trade along the silk road was increased since the traders able to pass the path safely (with some sort of payment for the empire)
