How were the Asian Americans treated when they first came to the United States?

    Explanation:

    When the Asian Immigrants came to united states, they were willing to take jobs with significantly lower wages compared to the locals but with equal/better performance. This made many business owners prefers to hire Asian Americans as workers.

    The local see them as a threat that took their opportunities away from them. This resulted in negative treatment toward Asian Americans. The locals even pressured the government to restrict the amount of Immigration that came from Asian countries (Like China and Japan)
