An information security analyst is a person who protects and take measures to secure the mission critical and sensitive data of the companies. They keep record of the important information and sensitive data and keep it safe from the hands of cyber hackers who can steal those data and use it in a wrong way.

I am working as an information security analyst in a company and it is my responsibility to protect my company's sensitive data from other using them illegally. So when an autonomous group approaches me and offered me $1,000 in bit coins to send the daily security log files to them, I would refused the offer and report or informed this to the concerned authority or management of my company.

Though I think that the security log files of my company are not important to anybody, it is not ethical to illegally send the company's any information and data whether important or unimportant to anybody without the approval of the company.

Hence, I would reject the offer.
