    I believe the answer is: Acknowledgment that there are other ways to live, whether you like it or not

    Problems in intercultural relationship often occurs if there is people who use their own personal culture as a standard to judge and evaluate other people's culture. Accepting that some people are just different would minimize such problems from occuring.
