    Answer: Thus, the modern notion of social justice became linked to the pursuit of an egalitarian society. It was a response to the social inequalities of European society, which was still driven by the ideas of differentiation and subordination. This is because the European development model was based on industrialization, which from the beginning generated inequalities between social classes.

    With the advent of globalization, from the late twentieth century, a number of social problems were highlighted. The process of economic and cultural integration of different nations has further aggravated social inequalities.

    The problems of inequality have led different individuals and institutions to think about this fundamental issue for society. Studies, reports and research are developed in order to understand and intervene in this problem through the principle of social justice.
