    Oceania is region which comprises of many islands and Australia is the major part of it.

    Polynesian culture developed in Oceania. People who originated there are the best sailors who explored South Pacific Ocean. Those people built double hulled vessels which is called outrigger canoes. This ship had the capacity to endure huge waves and maneuvered easily in deep oceans.

    They domesticated many pet animals to carry goods. People were talented in sailing and hence permanently settled around the islands of south pacific which lacked flora and fauna.
