    It is seen as a form of civic duty that one needs to perform even though it is not mandatory by the law.

    It was a form of political participation that evolve from the puritans and moved up the westward areas.

    It must also be noted that political participation according to the moralistic enables the government running affairs of the state to provide welfare based on the expectation that the citizens has on them due to their participation.
